CRA Welcomes Ash Grant, Junior Consultant

Ash Grant joined CRA in January 2011 from Atkins. Ash has a Masters in Physics from Manchester University and four years experience of safety in the nuclear and air  travel  industries. Ash is working towards achieving Chartered Engineer status through the Institute of Physics.

Ash spent three years on site at the Atomic Weapons Establishment working in the AWE safety team on a large new build project. During this time Ash contributed to Hazard Identification Studies and wrote Safety Case documentation using deterministic methods. Ash also developed the database used to track all the safety case information. Following his time at AWE Ash spent six months working in the Air Safety  industry  developing safety cases for RAF radars and radios. Ash is looking forward to becoming a PSA expert at CRA which will compliment his deterministic assessment and safety case skills.
